How Payments Work
Understanding the payment flow from booking to your bank account.
When a customer books a paid session, they complete a Stripe Checkout — a secure, hosted payment page. Stripe processes the card and transfers the funds directly to your connected bank account. On paid plans there is no Vastali platform fee, so you keep 100% of your revenue minus Stripe's processing fees.
Step-by-step payment flow
- 1Customer selects a slot and clicks Book
- 2They are redirected to Stripe Checkout hosted by Stripe
- 3They enter their card details securely
- 4Stripe processes the payment and confirms success
- 5They are redirected back to your booking confirmation page
- 6Stripe transfers the full amount to your connected bank account (usually within 2 business days)
Payment statuses
- ✓Pending — payment initiated but not yet confirmed
- ✓Paid — payment successfully processed
- ✓Refunded — full or partial refund issued
- ✓Failed — payment declined or errored
Viewing payment history
Go to Revenue in the sidebar to see a full history of payments, transfers, and refunds. You can also view individual payment records on each booking's detail page.
Stripe payouts to your bank account are typically processed every 2 business days, but this depends on your Stripe account's payout schedule. You can adjust this in your Stripe dashboard.
