Creating Manual Bookings

How to create a booking on behalf of a customer from the dashboard.

You can create bookings manually from the dashboard — useful when a customer calls in, walks in, or when you want to block time for a specific purpose.

Creating a booking

  1. 1Go to Bookings in the left sidebar
  2. 2Click New Booking
  3. 3Select the service
  4. 4Select the date and time slot
  5. 5Search for an existing customer or enter a name and email to create a new one
  6. 6Add any notes if needed
  7. 7Click Confirm Booking

Manual bookings and payments

Manual bookings created by staff bypass the payment flow — no Stripe checkout is triggered. If the session is paid, you should collect payment separately (cash, card terminal, bank transfer) and mark it accordingly.

If you want to create a booking and send the customer a payment link, use the customer's email to send a direct booking confirmation that includes the payment URL.

Blocking time

To block a slot without creating a customer booking (e.g. for maintenance, personal training, or staff meetings), create a manual booking and assign it to a placeholder customer, or use an availability override to block the time at the resource level.
